MONSTER TURKEY
December 25 Sunday 2005

Despite being away from my family this year, I'm having a really enjoyable Christmas. The majority of my Semester A exams are now over, and I've got 10 glorious days to simply chill-out and recover from all my revision.

My apartment is totally decked out with Christmas decorations, and Melissa is in town for a couple of weeks. It's like Christmas '04 in the UK all over again... but in Hong Kong and without my Dad (although we'll be hanging out in Februaury and I can't wait).

Christmas day was awesome. After the morning service at The Vine, Melissa and I went to Tammy and Nat's place for lunch. They hold an open house every year for people who don't have any family in Hong Kong.

Tammy, by the way, is a wonderful chef, and the turkey she cooked this year was simply gigantic. There was plenty of food, drink, fellowship and friends - and it was all topped off with the brilliant and obligitory Christmas Day movie: Point Break. Fantastic.
