BEGINNING THE YEAR IN DISBELIEF

A little late in coming, but here's my first post of 2006 and my 206th journal entry overall. I've been writing for nigh on five years, and I still find myself a little overcome when looking back over my archives.

Despite all the time that has passed; the coming to terms with what happened; and having moved on since - I still find myself shedding tears in disbelief. Surely these things didn't happen to me... to us.

It's been four years since you passed away. Four years... and yet there are still times where it feels like it was just yesterday. I just can't believe you're not here anymore... I miss you so much.
