DEEP AZURE CARDIGAN Not that you have to wear a knitted garment of any kind (although it does get pretty brisk here in the mornings), the “Cardigan” i'm referring to is the bay that sits below my dad and step mother’s new house in West Wales. The photo I've taken doesn't really do it justice. It doesn't capture the changing colours of the currents, the smell of the grass or the freshness of the ocean-breeze, things that Hong Kong, despite all its neon splendor, simply doesn't have. I may be a “city boy" at heart, but there’s no-where else I’d rather be right now. The perfect antidote to an incredibly stressful year. I’m already feeling healthier: the fresh air; good food (if you know my dad’s cooking you'll know what I mean); the relaxing environment; stress free life-style and of course lots of sleep (not sheep). Unlike my usual vacations, which involve doing as much sight seeing as possible, I’m simply going to spend the next three weeks rejuvenating and making the most of this tranquility. I’m still not entirely sure what I’ll be doing when I return to Hong Kong, so I want to make sure that I’m completely rested and ready for what God has in store for me there. So in the meantime, I'm going to be dividing my time between walking along the beach, petting the cows, spending time with my dad, step-mother & God and updating my website, which, with all this time, should be every two to three days. *Yawns*, this is the life, I think it's time for another nap in the sun. |
