FAMICOM TO PLAYSTATION 2

Rooting around the annex today, I pulled out my old games console, old being the operative word, seeing as this machine is over fifteen years old. I've spent many-a-happy hour on this old "Famicom", playing classics like Tetris, Super Mario Bros, Boulderdash, Bomberman, Contra and Duckhunt to name but a few. In fact it was the Famicom that got me into gaming in the first place, followed by the Sega Game Gear, Sony Playstation, and most recently, the Playstation 2.

But with the next generation of consoles on the horizon, and the impending demise of the Playstation 2, comes my own withdrawal from video-games. I simply can't keep up anymore. And in a way, I'm not really interested in what the Playstation 3, 4, 5... has to offer - I'm content with my PS2. Of course there is one game that could coax me out of this video-game retirement, and that's Final Fantasy XII, but until then, here is my definitive lift of video-games (being the geek that I am).
