RESONATE

A word that’s been resonating in my head for quite a while is, funnily enough, “resonate” – which is also the name of a conference that The Vine Band led worship at, along with Reason and Reuben Morgan from Australia.

Hong Kong attracts many international acts like Hillsong United and Planetshakers (also from Australia), and The Vine is planning on bringing Matt Redman and Tim Hughes across from the UK shortly.

The reason why the word “resonate” strikes a particular chord with me, is that even though we’re seeing all these great bands coming to Hong Kong, I believe that there is a new sound stirring through-out Asia, from within Asia... and resonating from the heart of Hong Kong.

In the same way that ripples move across a pond, I believe that the songs being written and sung here will resonate through our city, into Asia and to the rest of the world. Indeed, The Vine Band is currently getting ready to fly out and lead worship at a couple of great events in China before heading over to the UK... and it's all right here, right now.
