PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES

First full day in the UK, and I'm back in West Wales with my parents. After touching down in London yesterday, I found out that the internship at HTB had been pushed back due to visa complications the other interns were having.

So after checking into my hotel in Tufnell, I made my way down to Paddington, which took over an hour due to Tube strikes. After traversing London's famous, but sprawling underground, I jumped onto a train bound for Carmarthen which took a further 4 hours, before being picked up by my dad. All in all, I'd been travelling for around 20 hours.

So what does one do to unwind after such a long journey? Well apart from eat lots of yummy home-cooking; my parents have invested in a fantastic ping-pong table - enough said! I've had a look at the HTB schedule and it's pretty intense, I might not get another chance to spend this much time in West Wales once it begins - so lets play!
